2023 Portfolio Exercise

Just a quick reminder that if you haven’t already contacted me to join the 2023 portfolio exercise group there is still time. We will holding the kick-off meeting a little later in March so if you are holding back because you don’t have a subject in mind I would still suggest putting your name down. I’m sure that glimmer of an idea that you have will materialise soon. This is a great opportunity to pursue a photographic project on a subject of your choice in a collaborative environment and guided by a couple of very accomplished photographers. Just send me an email at bicton36@gmail.com

2023 Club Portfolio Exercise

At our club night last week we hosted a visit from representatives of The Entrance Camera Club who presented on the portfolio exercise their club ran in 2022. Our special thanks to Barbara Blades and her colleagues for their presentation.

Hopefully now many of you are excited to create your own portfolio and to have this as one of your focuses for your photography in 2023. We are fortunate that like last year Roy Killen and Craig Parker have volunteered to mentor participants and our group.

If you wish to participate in our portfolio exercise this year please send me an email at bicton36@gmail.com by Friday 3rd March. In this email please indicate if you have a topic in mind for your portfolio or if you have no idea then perhaps what technique of genre of photography you wish to pursue or explore. I will collate the responses and provide this to Roy and Craig in readiness for a kick-off meeting later in March on a date to be announced.
