Just a clarification on the prints needed for the Raymond Terrace and Cessnock exhibitions. Katharine James requires 80 prints all up for framing. Those prints will go to Raymond Terrace on 1st May then be moved from there to Cessnock to be put up for that exhibition on 3rd June.
Katharine needs to have ALL the 80 prints by the April competition night at the latest. Please contact Katharine James if you require further information.

March Set Subject – Negative Space
The criteria for the March Set Subject has been updated and includes a link with additional information and examples.
Negative space is the area around and between objects in a picture, which can provide ‘breathing room’ giving the viewer’s eyes somewhere to rest and prevents the image from appearing too cluttered. Ideally, it should be used to enhance an image by creating better-composed pictures as well as allowing viewers to see sizes and shapes more easily (you may find this article useful – https://contrastly.com/negative-space/), to be judged by Terina Vale.
Entries for the March competition close at 11pm 17/03/2019.
