View this on our website at https://wangi.myphotoclub.com.au/invitation-to-a-visual-presentation-2/

Wangi Camera Club is pleased to invite the members of our club and their guests to an informative and visual evening with Adriano Carrideo on Monday night the 27th May starting at 7pm.

Entry is $5.00

Raffle tickets will be available on the night for $5 each or 3 for $10 to be drawn at this event and the prizes are:-

1st Prize: Canon 750D DSLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm lens, valued at circa $700

2nd Prize : Canon Optical Cleaning kit

About the Presentation

“The aim of my presentation called “Applying both Art and Science” is to provide an insight into how my personal process of image creating and thoughts come together. The talk touches upon universal design tools used in art/design theory. Tools I found personally useful that helped me understand the psychology of art and visual presentation. I feel this insight has helped me engage the audience and promote my personal interest with evocative landscape and street/wildlife photography as well as hopefully revealing something deeper, richer and magical about the world around us. The simple act of creating images is exciting for me as it often feels like a never-ending experiment, practising and testing different photographic and post processing techniques with different outcomes”.

Check out Adriano’s website , you’re sure to be impressed! https://acarrideo.myportfolio.com/about

John Alessi – Audio Visual Productions 22 May

John delivered a very interesting and information presentation on Audio Visual productions, using Proshow Gold software. He encouraged us to share our images by producing attention grabbing productions.

Proshow Gold allows the user to produce stimulating shows which can be include still images, video clips and music for the web, social media, computer and TV. The software uses transparency layers to provide movement in still images. John talked about how composite images in Australia have dated back to Frank Hurley who used 12 glass negative plates to depict a battle scene in WWI in 1918

John showed us some of stunning productions, using his images and those of his wife Leanne. He also mentioned tutorials which can be found on You Tube for Proshow Gold.

It was obvious that John had spent a lot of time and effort to put together a wonderful presentation for our club. Thank you John for a wonderful presentation and for all of your hard work.
