Dangar Island Cruise on The Riverboat Postman
Come along on Sunday, 15 March 2020 to the picturesque (pardon the pun) Hawkesbury River where we will take a three-hour boat cruise to Danger Island. Once at the Island you have the option to take a guided tour around the historic Island or continue to cruise around.
Cost includes return bus transfer from the 16s to Brooklyn at approx. 9am and returning at approx. 5pm. Please note final pickup times will be advised closer to the date. Morning tea and a ploughman’s lunch are included, with vegetarian and gluten free options available. The boat is fully licensed so you can enjoy a glass of wine, beer or soft drink (at own cost) while you are taking in and photographing the sights.
The boat fits a maximum of 48 people, so get in early to secure you seat for this great opportunity.

Mervyn Bishop
1 February – 12 April 2020
Mervyn Bishop is arguably Aboriginal Australia’s most prolific photographer. Through capturing personal images of family and friends, intimate portraits of members of the Aboriginal community, and defining moments in Australia’s political and social history, he has helped shape our understanding of Australia today.
This exhibition, which brings together photographs from the Art Gallery of New South Wales collection and material from the artist’s archive, is a celebration of his life and work.
