Thank you Roy Killen

After tonight’s session, no-one in our club should be frustrated by their photographic problems!

The questions were wide and varied and the solutions were simply explained. Everyone who attended took away some terrific pearls of wisdom. The session also reinforced some principles, often overlooked by the most experienced photographers,

What became obvious to me was that a lot of our members are not taking advantage of the training documents. You will find them on at the bottom of the Presentation Schedule page.

Thank you Roy for another presentation, filled with great information.

Aperture Shutter Speed ISO Outing

Thank you Bill Chambers and Roy Killen for accompanying the group to the Belmont 16s club this morning. It was a glorious morning, topped off by the presence of an engaging group of people. Bill “cracked the whip” and we practised the skills, which he had covered on Wednesday night. Coffee at the club was good as well!

Bill has thrown down the gauntlet. He stated that he would be very happy to hear of a person who gains a Judge’s Choice and states that it was due to them learning how to use the correct settings on their camera!

Important Announcements

Bill Chambers Presentation 12 June 2018.

Thank you Bill Chambers for another great presentation tonight. You have taken away a lot of the mystery concerning F stops, shutter speed, ISO settings and depth of field. Those of us who attended tonight learned that the DSLR camera offer the photographer flexibility and the ability to control the camera.

Bill will be leading the group on Saturday 15 June 9am at Belmont 16s club, to practice our newly learned skills. Roy Killen will also be there to give a hand.
