Astro Photoshoot Tonight is ON
The Astro photoshoot scheduled for tonight is ON with clear skies predicted.
Location – Lower Car Park Green Point Reserve Belmont – Drive past Belmont 16’s on your LHS .Proceed up the hill and turn Right into Crown St, then turn Left down Shores Way and then second on the left into. Carpark
Time – Arrival from 6.45pm in the car park with a start time of 7pm. Finish time 9pm.
Equipment – Small torch (essential), appropriate footwear (possible wet grass slopes), Camera gear, tripod etc
This photoshoot is open to all members, with all levels of experience catered for.

It’s A Knockout
Time for the battle to begin!
Its a Knockout will happen this Wednesday night September 25th at VBC at 7pm
Uploading of entries will close at 11.55pm Tuesday night. Entries cannot be entered on the night!
Your entry must be in colour and must not have been entered into any previous club competitions.
Come along and have some fun. Those attending will judge and vote for the winning images, as 2 images fight it out, with the winner progressing to the next round.
There are plenty of prizes, Overall winner, Runnerup, Lucky door prize, as well as a chance to will consolation prizes if you have been “Knocked Out”

Lighting Group
Reminder: The lighting group will start this Thursday 19th September at 7pm on Zoom, using the usual link.
The group is open to all members.
In this initial meeting, we will aim to cover (time permitting):
- Basic principles of flash photography
- Essential equipment to get started
- Common lighting setups with sample images
- Challenges members have encountered, along with potential solutions
