May and June Club Nights

A reminder to all members that we will be meeting at the Valentine Bowling Club at 7.00pm on the second Wednesday of each month. Here is a snapshot of the agenda for the coming months.

Our May Club Night is rapidly approaching and will be held at the Valentine Bowling Club, starting at 7.00pm on Wednesday 11th May in the upstairs function room. The agenda for May will be a slide show of the March digital competitions and then a presentation by Bill Chambers titled – ‘FUNdamentals of Photography’. This will be the first in a series of presentations by Bill as he takes us on a journey into how our camera works. Members are invited to bring along their camera’s, whatever brand they are using as we will be taking breaks during the evening so members can ask questions in breakout groups of people who use similar gear. The May edition of Skiffy will contain more information on what Bill will be covering in this first session.

We will have our usual tea/coffee break and raffles during the evening.

The June Club night (Wednesday 8th June) will include live judging of our June print competition, refreshments and then presentation of trophies for our 2021 monthly digital competition.

Please reserve these dates in your diary.
