VBC Workshop this Wednesday

The workshop planned for VBC this Wednesday February 28th will be presented by Peter Ryan, from the Maitland Camera Club.

He has a fascinating presentation on  “The life and times of Bruce, the African Cape Buffalo, who lives out on the Masai Mara and has a rather interesting meeting with The Toppi pride lions. The presentation and story  was put together from a 2 day interaction out on the Mara – my trip in 2022.

The workshop presentation will start at 7pm in the function centre at VBC

See you there. Everyone is welcome!

Photoshoot Opportunities

At our recent February club night I mentioned an opportunity to support a worthwhile charity.

Our member, Susan Robinson is involved in the Legacy charity as a volunteer. Legacy provides a range of services to the families of Australian servicemen and women. From time to time Legacy holds events and there are opportunites for volunteers to attend and capture images of these events for use in Legacy publications. This is a great opportunity to develop and apply your camera skills in the service of others.

If you are interested in becoming a Legacy volunteer and helping with the running of this worthwhile charity you can contact Susan for more details. Susan can be contacted by phone on 0475 937 469, by email, sro18816@bigpond.net.au

Images captured at these Legacy events may be used by the photographer for club competitions providing the subject agrees.
