Zoom July Image Evaluation

Our Zoom workshop this month will be held next week, Wednesday 19th July at 7pm.

This will be a chance to have up to 3 of your images evaluated and commented on by other club members and judges.

Those participating will need to upload 3 of their images into “Zoom July Image Evaluation” in the members area Wednesday next week.

I will then divide those participating into 2 groups. Groups will be in a separate Zoom Room to discuss and evaluate the images.

Group A will have leading the discussion Roy Killen and Diane Schofield; Group B Dennis Archibald and Bill Chambers.

Get involved and learn from those with judging experience and others.

Login via the usual link on the website. Zoom opens 6.45pm

2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) – Notice of Meeting

The 2023 AGM for our club will be held at Valentine Bowling Club on 9th August at 7pm. This will precede the August Prints night.

The main business of the AGM is:

  1. To approve the minutes of the 2022 AGM. You can find the Minutes of Meeting by clicking on the following link 2022 AGM MoM
  2. To receive the Presidents report for the club’s activities for the past year.
  3. To receive clubs the financial reports .
  4. To elect committee members for 2023-2024 year. The Club must elect the following positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and a minimum number of 3 general committee members. There is scope for the election of additional general committee members.

Nominations for these positions can be made via the Nomination Form which can be downloaded at the following link Nomination Form for Committee Officer Elections . These specified positions are essential to the running of the club. There are of course a number of other important roles which are also necessary that do not require a formal vote at the AGM. We hope to encourage more of our younger members to involve themselves in committee work.  Just being on the committee can give members a great introduction to and understanding of what happens behind the scenes. Nomination forms should be completed and sent to the Secretary Sue Slack at gordon.slack15@bigpond.com  by 5pm on 2nd August. Positions that remain unfilled via this process may warrant a call from the floor on the night. Nominees who have no others opposing them for the same position will be declared duly elected.

Please contact Sue if you have any questions or issues with this process.
