Presentation Night Wednesday 11 April 7pm – Colin Woods

Colin will do his presentation on our Website, and other related technology matters.  This is a great opportunity to catch up on the website’s latest features from the Master himself.  The website is one of continual improvement, so it is important to keep abreast of the changes.

Colin also requests that you please bring along your ideas on what a better website should contain.  If you are experiencing problems, bring those questions along with you as well.

Membership Renewal Reminder

Just a quick reminder to renew your membership, if you have not already done so.

Membership is now $5 and can be paid by Paypal, Bank Transfer or Cash. I will be at tomorrow nights training night if you want to pay cash. There is a Renew membership button on the website.

Your 16’s membership should also be up to date and you need to have a new card made up even if your 16’s membership is not due, the new cards are grey.

Your grey card needs to be sighted by me, at training nights etc or upload a photo of your card in the members area, there is a yellow ‘Upload Club Members Card’ button.

Thanks Everyone

Annette Collins

Training night. Are you focused?

In response to member requests, in the training night next Wednesday, 28th March, Roy Killen will explain how to get the best results from your camera (whatever it is). In particular, he will explain how to get good exposure, perfect focus and appropriate depth of field in your images.

This session will be particularly useful for new members of the club – but even old dogs might learn some new tricks! It will be useful to bring your camera and manual.
