June Raw Image Challenge
The challenge is on again for this month. Find and open the June Challenge in the members competition area. You will then see the blue button to download the file.
Now edit the image using your editing program and submit your final image before the end of the month.
All members then have the opportunity to look and score the images . There is now a blue scoring button beside the May competition. Follow the instructions and give each image a score /5
This months image is shown below and the raw Image Challenge is open to all members. Submit before June 30th!

Astronomy Photoshoot
There maybe a small window of clear sky along the east coast and it could happen tomorrow night. The rest of the week, forecast is cloud and rain.
Our Astro Photoshoot is scheduled for tomorrow night. Monday June 3rd
TIME – Capture the night sky will happen from 6.30pm to approx 8.30pm Monday 3rd June. Meet in the car park from 6.15pm for instructions and risk assessment.
LOCATION – Caves Beach Headland (just above Caves Beach Surf Club) Head south along Caves Beach Rd, thru the shopping centre until there are no houses on the ocean side. Continue to head south, keep an eye out on the LHS and you will see the entry to the car park just south of the Surf Club. There is a short walk via concrete path to the headland.
EQUIPMENT – You will need and must have – Camera and wide angle lens, tripod, warm clothing, solid footwear a small torch or headlamp.
BEFORE YOU GET IN THE CAR – Practice setting your cameras white balance to 4300K or anything other than AUTO and make sure you can change the shutter speed, aperture and ISO in Manual mode
Come along and see if you can capture some stars and some foreground at night. All members are welcome

I will be in carpark from 6.15pm. Remember, this photoshoot is weather dependant an may have to be cancelled on the night if necessary. It will be cold so rug up!
