Annual Summer Club Picnic

All Welcome
Come along to our Club’s annual summer picnic under the shade of the fig trees just around from the Club on Brooks Parade Belmont, opposite ‘The Brooks’ (ex-Deck 56).
Bring your camera as there are always lots of photo opportunities and plenty to chat about.
BYO chair, Aerogard, sunscreen, all you would like to eat and drink, and something to share if you would like.

Lightroom Workshop
I have been given the go ahead by the committee to try and run a Lightroom workshop in the new year. This will involve a hands-on approach to learning some of the basics of Lightroom editing and organising so as to help members import, edit their photos and arrange them in a way so they are easy to export at the correct size for entry into our competitions.
- This course will need to run at the 16’s and require a min of 10-15 people.
- It will be held on a weekday from approx. 10am to 1pm (3 hrs). The exact day at this stage is unknown and will depend on room availability at the club.
- Cost for the course will be $10 per head (to cover some costs in hiring the room) No payment is required at this stage!
- Where possible those attending will need to bring along their laptop with Lightroom installed and operating
- If you cannot bring along your device, it should be possible for 2 people to share.
At this stage we are looking for a show of interest for this course to run. If numbers are sufficient then a confirmed date and booking will be made, and more detail of the workshop content will be made available.

Competitions in January 2020 – Prints will close Sunday, 12th January 2020, 11:00 PM.
Entries can be made in the following areas:

- B Grade Open Small Print
- Advanced Open Colour Large Print
- Advanced Nature Large Print
All members are encouraged to enter.
