2024 Competitions Open for Entries
The Print and Digital competitions for January and February are open for entries.
Before entering, please read the “Competition Rules 2024” document that you can download by clicking on the “Club Documents” button. Some of the competition rules for 2024 have changed. Please take special note of the “Image Creation and Ownership” section of the rules.
To enter a competition: log on to the club website, click on the “Members” button and select “2024” near the top of the page. Then select the competition you want to enter and follow the prompts. After you have uploaded all your images for a competition, please click on the “View or Change Entries” button and check that all your images have the correct titles.
The closing date for the January competitions is Sunday 7th January.

Xmas Party and Awards Presentation
Just a last reminder for all those who have paid and are attending the Xmas party and award presentation at Valentine Bowling Club this Sunday December 3rd.
The function room at VBC will be open from 5.30pm on Sunday with meals being served from 6.30pm. Drinks will need to be purchased from the downstairs bar as there is no bar service upstairs.
The presentation of awards will occur during the night.
MerryXmas to everyone, See you on Sunday for the party.

Invitation -The Entrance Camera Club Portfolio Presentations 2023
Members may recall that The Entrance Camera Club attended one of our meetings earlier this year and presented their 2022 photographic portfolios.
Our club members have now been invited to attend their 2023 Portfolio Presentation. This is the second year that their Portfolio Group has been active. This year 10 portfolios will be on display and the authors will speak about their portfolio. It will be a social night and a light supper will be provided.
This presentation is Friday 24th November starting at 7.30pm at the Long Jetty Over 50’s Club.

IOTY VOTING REMINDER
If you have not already voted for your choice of Image of the Year please do so before midnight on 15th November.
On the club website home page, click on the “Members” button and then on the “2023 Image of the Year Finalists” button (top of the list of ‘published’ competitions).
Near the top of the screen click on the “Slideshow” button. Scroll through the 18 images using the buttons at the top of the screen. Decide which image you prefer as Image of the Year. While viewing the image you prefer, click on the “Vote” button. You can vote for only ONE image.
