FIAP World Cup of Clubs

The FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE DE L’ART PHOTOGRAPHIQUE (International Federation of Photographic Art) each year conducts a world cup for photography clubs.  This year our club has decided to enter.

This is a digital competition. The club’s entry consists of twenty images of any subject and can be colour or monochrome.  A maximum two entries per member is permitted.

Here are links to Information about the competition  and  the Rules of the competition

How are the club entries chosen?

An internal competition will be conducted to select the top twenty images. All members of the club are encouraged to enter.  Each member can submit two entries. Entries close at 10pm on 29th October.

How is the internal competition judged?

All members within Advanced grade are invited to judge. The judging system used will be the 1-5 scoring system, used in national and international competitions.

Advanced grade members who judge can still enter the competition as the score for their own entry will be ignored. The ‘score’ for their own image will be the average score from the other judges.

The highest scoring twenty images will be selected.

The image size is different!

FIAP requires the image to be 2400 pixels minimum on the longest side.

So your image needs to be either 2400 pixels wide by less than 2400 pixels tall for a landscape, or less than 2400 pixels wide and 2400 pixels tall for a portrait.

If you have difficulties with entering, please email your original size images to colin@myphotoclub.com.au

So get out your top best, made the judges swoon, images and put them up!
