Objectives of the Club

To provide members of the club with opportunities to advance the standard of their pictorial and technical photographic work.

To promote the exchange of information and ideas about photography through the provision of education and training programmes, newsletters, a website, and other means.

To encourage and assist members to participate in photographic competitions both within and beyond the Club.

PSA Interclub COMPETITIONS

Our club entires for Round 2 of the PSA Interclub competitions have been finalised. The selected images will be listed in the next Skiffy.

Entries for the five competitions in Round 3 (Open, Creative, Nature, Photojournalism and Photo Travel) are now open and will close on 21st March. This is the final Round for the 2020-21 competitions. All the entries from Round 2 that were not selected as part of our club entry have been transferred to Round 3 – but you can delete your entries and submit new entries if you want to.

Please enter the Interclub Competition

The closing date for the five PSA Interclub completions (Open, Creative, Nature, PJ and Photo Travel) has been extended until 22^nd January. Please use the normal procedure for club competitions to enter these Interclub competitions. If you entered Round 1 of the Interclub and your image was not selected to represent the club it has been carried over as an entry in Round 2. You may replace those previous entries with new images to increase your chances of being selected to represent our club. ALL club members, regardless of Grade, are encouraged to enter – you need only one image per section and you do not have to enter all sections. PSA Interclub Entries Needed NOW

Images for our club entry in Round 1 of the PSA Interclub Competition must be submitted by 15th October. Full details of these Interclub competitions can be downloaded from the “Club Documents” page of our website.

ALL club members are invited to participate. It’s easy – just enter the same way you enter monthly competitions. Please at least consider entering some of the images you are going to use as your IOTY entries. Don’t be shy! It’s free and you have nothing to lose.

PSA Interclub Competitions

Entries are open for the PSA Interclub competitions and full details will be available in the next Skiffy newsletter. Entries can be submitted on the normal club competition entry page.

ALL club members are invited to enter. If you think that you might enter any of the PSA Interclub competitions, please download the “Permission for PSA to Use Images” document from the link below so that your images can be shown on the PSA website. This permission is not compulsory but it will help to promote our club. After you sign the form (physically or electronically) please email it to me.
