Objectives of the Club

To provide members of the club with opportunities to advance the standard of their pictorial and technical photographic work.

To promote the exchange of information and ideas about photography through the provision of education and training programmes, newsletters, a website, and other means.

To encourage and assist members to participate in photographic competitions both within and beyond the Club.

Training Night Reminder

This Wednesday, 23rd October, at 7pm at VBC Roy Killen will present a session on “Using AI to Improve Your Photography”. He will also explain the 2025 club rules regarding the use of AI for preparing images entered in club competitions.

PSA INTERCLUB SELECTIONS

The following members had images selected to represent our club in Round 1 of the PSA Digital Interclub competitions:

The results of these competitions should be available in mid-November.

Entries for Round 2 of the Interclub competitions are open and will close on 1^st December. Your IOTY entries should provide some good choices – so don’t be shy about entering.

Entries for the October Print and Digital monthly competitions close at midnight Sunday 6th October.

IOTY ENTRIES

Entries for the Print and Digital sections of the Image of the Year competition must be made before midnight on Saturday 26th October.

A member may enter up to FOUR images in each section of the Image of the Year competition.

There are some restrictions on entries in the Image of the Year competition and you will find them on page 6 of the club competition rules that you can download from the Club Documents tab on the home page of the club website.
