Lake Macquarie National Exhibition of Digital Photography Awards Night

We were treated to a wide range of excellent images tonight.  This competition is going from strength to strength both in numbers of entrants and quality of images.

Congratulations to all award winners, especially to those in our club, who did so well.  Frank Kolver took out the award for the most points won in the competition.

Thanks to Roy Killen and Committee who worked so hard to make this competition and awards night such a success.

For those of you who were unable to attend tonight, make sure that you view the 2018 catalogue on the Lake Macquarie National Exhibition of Digital Photography website.

Hunter Wetlands Visit 27 October

Thank you Roy Killen for preparing the group for the Hunter Wetlands visit today, and for leading the group.

It was a fantastic day and the relaxed morning tea was a wonderful finale.  I gathered by the comments that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event.  Hunter Wetlands has informed  me that our group will be welcomed back with open arms.

October Presentations

Thank you Susan Slack and Helen Walker for your excellent presentations on Madagascar and Art in Photography.  I have heard that it was a great night and that a lot of effort had been taken in the preparation of the sessions.

Thank you Dennis Archibald for the on the Pros and Cons of Photographic Tours.  Again, a lot of effort was taken in the preparation of this session and it was very much appreciated by the audience..

The club is so fortunate to have so many talented members who are prepared to share their experiences and expertise.
