APS Australian Cup preselection competition

Each year our club participates in the Australian Photographic Society’s Australia Cup – a digital competition between photography clubs across Australia.

Last year we came sixth!

All members, irrespective of grade, are requested to submit two images for consideration to be selected as part of our entry of 20 images (two images per member can be put forward).

The theme for this years competition is “This is Australia –  Any image that shows a flavour of life in Australia including landscapes, people, iconic events and iconic places including architecture, birds and animals. Images may be taken in any of Australia’s territories.”

Entries close Sunday 14thMay.

The easiest way to submit an image is to select a previously uploaded image that has done well in our competitions.

To do this:

  • Go to the entry form APS Australian Cup 2023 preselection
  • Use the green Select From Existing Uploaded Images button
  • Open the Result filter, clear the filter, then check your highest awards
  • Review the images as a slideshow and then select the chosen image for entry. This returns you to the entry form and populates the entry.
  • Repeat for your second submission.

Please do not enter previously submitted images, whether they were a part of our, or another club’s entry. Also, you can only submit entries as part of one club.
